Ways of working together, at a pace that suits you.
Psychotherapy
One-to-one, person-centred therapy at your own pace, in Edinburgh or online.
Person-centred therapy begins with you, wherever you are at. We go at your pace, and you decide what we talk about. Alongside talking, we might pay gentle attention to what is happening in your body, slow down with mindfulness, or use drawing, sound or movement, if and when that feels right.
I work in a trauma-informed way and have experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD, gender, sexuality, spirituality, neurodivergence and perinatal issues.
We can meet in person at The Whole Works on Cockburn Street in Edinburgh, or online from wherever you feel most at ease.
Birth & Motherhood
Support through pregnancy, birth and the (re)birth of becoming a mother.
Becoming a mother can bring joy, fear, grief and everything in between, often all at once. As a birth doula I walked alongside women and families as they prepared to welcome a child, and saw how profoundly a mother is changed by birth.
Whether you are preparing for birth, making sense of a birth experience or finding your way in early motherhood, therapy can be a place to be honest about how it really feels. Online sessions can fit around feeds and naps.
Closing of the Bones
A gentle postpartum ritual of rest, warmth and care.
Closing of the Bones is a traditional postpartum ritual, often using cloths to gently hold and wrap the body. It can be a quiet way to mark the end of pregnancy and birth, and to honour the mother as well as the baby.
Please get in touch to talk about whether this is something I can offer you, and what it might involve.
Grief Circles
A shared space to bring loss, in the company of others.
Grief can feel very lonely. A grief circle is a small group where people can speak about loss, or simply sit and listen, without needing to explain or fix anything.
If you would like to hear about future circles, please get in touch.
Not sure what fits?
Get in touch and we can talk it through.
